Moisturizers & Nutrients
Green Ferns moisturizers provide a moisture barrier for skin, to protect from environmental factors, and infuses the skin with vitamins and minerals to keep it fresh and hydrated.
We also create products for the Spa. Normally, each spa services come with a 5-minute massage. So when the lotion is applied to the skin, within 2 minutes, it will not feel rough or dry immediately. For customers using the lotion at home, we encourage customers to massage hands while applying lotion.
Our products are designed for the skin to absorb the best moisturizers and nutrients. The formulas are based on water, plant oils, binder, flavoring, and food preservatives. Our products are safe to handle food. However, we do not encourage consumers to consume our products like food as that is not its intended purpose. For example, after you apply lotion on your hands, you can use your hands to place snacks into your mouth. That is acceptable.
For the scrub, apply in a circular motion, using the sea salt grains on hands or feet. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and gently scrub until the sugar/sea salt melts down.
During this exfoliation process, a layer of light oil will cover the skin to keep it moisturized.
After scrubbing, customers can easily clean the oil off the skin via the cleaning agents in our scrub products.

#Coconut Oil: increased circulation brings more oxygen to tissues and the tissues are revitalized, speeding up healing and growth. This increases the rate of metabolism as well. Furthermore, the oil that seeps through the skin keeps the skin soft, smooth, and moist by not letting moisture escape. This oil collected under the skin, when it reacts with sunlight, also aids in the formation of Vitamin-D.
#Vegetable Glycerin: is added to lotions because it is a humectant; a substance that attracts moisture to the skin. In the cosmetic world, this has two practical applications. First, glycerin leaves your skin hydrated. Second, for cosmetic products that deliver an active ingredient, a humectant can increase the solubility of the active ingredient, making it more easily absorbed by the skin.
#Aloe Juice: It acts as a moisturizer, treats acne. Aloe leaves contain a plethora of antioxidants including, beta carotene, vitamin C and E that can help improve the skin's natural firmness and keep the skin hydrated and fights aging.
#Witch Hazel: High levels of healing active ingredients reduce inflammation, cellular damage, and swelling, while also soothing wounds. When it comes to the products that you apply directly to your skin, you always want to treat the surface of your body how you would the inside: Avoid as many chemicals and toxins as possible. Witch hazel offers benefits over other beauty products because it’s completely natural, free of environmental pollutants, irritating ingredients, fake fragrances, and other contaminants.
#Neem Oil: Loaded with nutrients, neem oil is also used in natural skin care products because it contains high levels of antioxidants that help protect the skin from environmental damage. Neem also helps fight free radical damage in the skin because it contains carotenoids, which provide high antioxidant compounds.
#Stearic Acid (From Vegetable): are used as natural emulsifiers, emollients, and lubricants.
#Willow Bark Extract: is used in cosmetics and personal care products for its astringent, anti-inflammatory, soothing and conditioning properties. It is a natural exfoliant and is used in many acne treatments because of its ability to help skin shed dead cells and clear pores; it can also stimulate new cell formation. Willow Bark Extract also contains "phenolic acids; such as salicin, salicortin, fragilin, populin, triandrin and vimalin, as well as flavonoids, tannins (gallotannins and catechin-type tannins) and minerals," which all allow it to aid in skin rejuvenation.
#Sea Salt: One of the biggest benefits to salt scrubs, particularly the salt scrub, is the glow that your skin is left with. It might seem like an obvious benefit to mention, but body scrubs are a great way to exfoliate dead skin cells. This paves the way for fresh new cells to regenerate and leaves you looking and feeling fabulous.
#Sucrose: (Sugar from fruits) is a natural humectant, meaning it draws moisture from the environment into the skin. So when you apply products with sugar or sugar derivatives, they’ll actually help hydrate your skin and keep moisture within. sugar is a natural source of glycolic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that penetrates the skin and breaks down the “glue” that bonds skin cells, encouraging cell turnover and generating fresher, younger-looking skin. Glycolic acid is typically used to treat sun-damaged and aging skin.
#Butyl Stearate: Stearate esters act primarily as lubricants on the skin's surface, which gives the skin a soft and smooth appearance. Used in professional skin care products.
